Online Dating Safety
We do not tolerate scammers. Suspicious profiles are suspended immediately
and removed after investigation. You can help by reporting any suspicious
member with the Report Abuse link on their profile, or by writing to
contact@2redbeans.com
.
Protect yourself with these precautions
- Never send money to anyone you meet online, no matter the story.
- Never share your credit card number, banking details, or government ID with another member — on or off the site.
- Don't give out your home address or workplace to help with any "business transaction".
- Be wary of anyone claiming to be the heir, child, or relative of someone wealthy who needs your help.
- Don't reply to messages from a member whose profile has been deleted — deleted accounts are often scammers reported by other members.
Warning signs of a scammer
- They use fake or stolen photos — try a reverse image search if you're suspicious.
- They push to move to email, phone, or another app right away, before you've gotten to know them.
- They ask for money, gift cards, or financial "help" with an elaborate story.
- They offer to send you a check to cash on their behalf — those checks bounce.
